I told you guys that I am biased in favour of reggae music, it has everything to do with what makes me happy. So I got this rare chance to photograph ‘The Gravitti Reggae Band Concert’ that was held on 10th Sep 2016 at Alliance Francaise. If you look through my previous posts you will realize that they have played in two other concerts that I have photographed as well. I just love their music and they are Kenyan by the way.
Why I love them is because they are pushing the boundaries, they have energy and they are original. You know that moment you are watching the Olympics and you are waiting for the last kick and you are looking at the person you are supporting to win the race and you can actually see them winning. That’s how I see Gravitti. They are never going to get tired soon. Look out for them.
Anyway, too much Gravitti. I got this new toy, canon 70d and I have been giving it a try especially during night shoot. I left home with it and just a 50mm f 1.4 and 85mm f1.8. for the first time I got to shoot at f1.4 and felt how sweet and painful it can be.(For photographers only. If you are not one and you are getting this, please change your career. You might do well here)
No more vibe, let’s go straight to the photos. Feel free to comment and book my services if you need some good work done.
