The 21st Edition of Koroga Festival

The Koroga Festival, usually brought to us by Capital FM celebrates the greatest African acts from around the continent, food & culture. The Festival began Saturday 2pm to Midnight and later today Sunday from noon to 7pm. I didn’t attend the event on Saturday however, I managed to be there on Sunday and I got to watch Sage and the main act Yemia Alade on stage. Mercy Masika was also lined up to perform. This edition was more of ‘the queens edition’ with the trending #Queensrock I have put together images I captured from the event today. Copyright of image…

Jamhuri Reggae Festival in the Rain

Good Evening from Nairobi. We are experiencing rains in Nairobi btw and we give thanks! On my previous post, I covered Freddie Mcgregor landing in Nairobi and promised to share some images from his live performance in Kenya. Finally here we go. The concert happened yesterday in a rainy fashion and style. At first I thought Nairobians will not show up in numbers to enjoy their love for Reggae music. I was wrong, indeed very wrong. Jamhuri Reggea Festival is here

You know what? It’s very late and I can’t keep calm. I’m just from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Freddie Mcgregor just landed with his entire band. Are you ready? He is scheduled to perform at the Jamhuri Reggae Festival on 3rd March 2018 at KICC alongside CULTURE. Log into http://www.ticketsasa.com and buy your ticket. Don’t be late. In the meantime here are more images of his arrival and a host of reggae diehards were available to receive him. Stay blessed. See y’all at the Festival.
